Job Description:

Our client is a leader in the Power & Energy industry, committed to driving growth and innovation. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced M&A Professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Power industry, with a strategic mindset and extensive experience in M&A. This role involves identifying potential companies for acquisition or partnership, evaluating their fit with our strategic goals, and managing deals from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute long and mid-term strategic plans focused on M&A and joint ventures to drive growth in our Power line of business.
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities using advanced analytical tools and market research.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence to assess the viability and strategic fit of potential deals.
  • Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including deal sourcing, negotiation, structuring, and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, investment banks, and advisors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or a related field, with a focus on the Power industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions and joint ventures.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
