Our client is a leader in the Power & Energy industry, committed to driving growth and innovation. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced M&A Professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Power industry, with a strategic mindset and extensive experience in M&A. This role involves identifying potential companies for acquisition or partnership, evaluating their fit with our strategic goals, and managing deals from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute long and mid-term strategic plans focused on M&A and joint ventures to drive growth in our Power line of business.
Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities using advanced analytical tools and market research.
Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence to assess the viability and strategic fit of potential deals.
Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including deal sourcing, negotiation, structuring, and integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, investment banks, and advisors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or a related field, with a focus on the Power industry.
Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions and joint ventures.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
