Job Title: Social Media & Branding Specialist

Department: Marketing

Employment Status: Full-time (Non-exempt)

Reports to: Creative Director

Position Summary

As a Social Media and Branding Specialist at Bomnin Automotive, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and promoting our brand. You will be responsible for creating original content, managing posts and responding to followers and customers. Additionally, you will actively engage in community involvement events that the dealership participates in.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media
  • Create high-quality, original, engaging, and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely delivery of content that reflects current promotions, events, and dealership updates.
  • Communicate with followers and customers, respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Design and implement social media strategies to align with our business goals.
  • Suggest and implement features to develop brand awareness, promotional campaigns, engagement in community events, news and more.
  • Research social media trends and inform Creative Director of changes that are relevant to the company's marketing activities.
  • Monitor traffic, engagement and other metrics on our social platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Respond to both positive and negative reviews across all social media accounts and platforms.
  • Monitor all platforms, identifying opportunities for enhancement, ensuring consistency and accuracy in the portrayal of information, images, operational hours, contact numbers, and other relevant details.

Community Involvement Events
  • Assist in planning and executing a range of existing and new events throughout the year.
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and critical paths, overseeing aspects and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Capture photos and videos at community events and use the footage to create engaging social media content.
  • Actively engage in community events and initiatives to strengthen our brand presence and promote community involvement.

Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a social media content creator (+3 years of experience).
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn and other platforms best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO and excellent copywriting skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and meet department goals and deadlines, maintaining a high level of organization.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and either Premiere or After Effects is required.
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building and nurturing relationships.

Physical Demands:
  • This role primarily involves working in an office setting and using a computer for extended periods.
  • Community/team events may require physical activities such as assisting setting up outdoor event spaces, carrying event materials, and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment:
  • The work environment includes an office and may require occasional travel to dealership locations.

Compensation

From $45,760 to $52,000 yearly (based on experience and skills).

Schedule
  • Monday through Friday.
