Position Overview
Hunter Douglas is currently hiring Production Associates for our Salt Lake City Fabrication Plant. What you'll do
Must be able to work well in team environment
Experience working in a similar production/manufacturing field is preferred
Production associates will be required to follow verbal and written instructions, processes and procedures to cut, assemble, inspect, or package components of various sizes, shapes, and materials
Follow all safety requirements including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Lifting requirements may vary between 1-50lbs depending on materials and sizes of blinds
Must be comfortable working on a stationary area, bending, lifting, walking
Use of various hand and power tools will be required
Must be able to meet daily production targets and standards - Training will be provided
Must have good hand/eye coordination
Who you are
At least 1-2 years of experience working in a similar field
Have the ability to understand and use a tape measure
Have basic computer literacy
Ability to adapt to an ever changing environment
Team player
Have the ability to cross train as needed in different areas
