Role Description
Responsible for performing underwater hull and dock cleaning, inspections, and maintenance on a variety of vessels.
Conducting underwater repairs including propeller, zinc replacements, and other essential boat services.
Documenting and reporting findings for client projects.
Collaborating with a team of divers and foremen to ensure each job meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Adhering to all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Desired Qualifications
Basic Open Water SCUBA certification (required)
HS Diploma or equivalent (required).
Minimum of 1 year of dive experience, which can include pleasure dives or work dives.
Commercial dive certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience in underwater boat maintenance.
Strong knowledge of marine vessel systems and hull structures.
Experience using diving equipment, tools, and machinery.
Ability to work in varying weather and water conditions.
The work requires physical exertion, such as long periods of swimming, or recurring and considerable walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and climbing. More situations include performing regular diving activities, exiting or entering the water and hauling heavy diving equipment up or down steep ramps.
Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
DAVE'S DIVE SERVICES, LLC claims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $25-$30 per hour. This position is eligible for benefits such as paid time off, healthcare benefits, dive gear allowances and may be eligible for performance-based bonuses, and other rewards. The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, education and training, and certifications.
