As a Senior Staff Accountant in our Tax Department, you will work closely with others to plan for the future and to help successful companies and individuals avoid surprises, and coordinate tax strategies. You will provide support to your teammates and clients and communicate regularly with them to understand their businesses and industries. Responsibilities:
Prepare complex tax returns for individuals and businesses
Conduct tax research and planning, and occasional review responsibilities
Assist in developing and coaching professional tax staff
Help to develop and manage client relationships
Provide timely and unmatched client service and exceed client expectations
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or other business-related field
3 - 5 years' relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and experience in public accounting required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Prosystems fx Tax and Engagement software
Industry experience preferred in real estate, high net worth individuals, corporations, pass through entities, and non-profits
CPA or CPA candidate
