Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Superintendent to manage Public works construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
Oversee the work of subcontractors and other construction professionals
Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and government officials
Prepare and submit progress reports and other project documentation
Qualifications
5+ years experience as a Superintendent in Commercial and Public Works Construction
Experience with Municipal Construction. City, County and State projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong TENURE, leadership and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Nice to have experience in Municipal, industrial, Schools, Medical and Emergency Service Construction
