Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PM - Municipal Construction to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of municipal construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction, and knowledge of municipal regulations and codes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PE certification, and experience with QA/QC processes will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage municipal construction projects from conception to completion
Create and manage project schedules, budget, and resources
Collaborate with municipal officials, engineers, and contractors to ensure project compliance with all regulations and codes
Review and approve project designs and plans
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
Identify and resolve any project issues or conflicts that may arise
Ensure project is completed within the defined timeline and budget
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
Oversee and manage project team, including subcontractors and vendors
Implement and maintain QA/QC processes to ensure project quality
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in municipal construction
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
PE certification preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other project management tools
Strong knowledge of municipal regulations and codes
Experience with QA/QC processes and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage and lead a project team
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
