Position Overview The Commercial Re-roof Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all facets of commercial roofing projects, particularly focusing on re-roofing assignments for government, military, and intricate buildings. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience managing large-scale and highly complex projects. They will handle 25-30 active projects simultaneously, coordinating with 10-15 on-site crews, and must be well-versed in federal government and military re-roofing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage commercial re-roofing projects from inception to completion.
Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and company standards.
Provide regular project updates and maintain open communication with clients.
Manage materials procurement and inventory to ensure timely delivery and proper stock levels.
Train and mentor team members in installation techniques and safety practices.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and change orders.
Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with a focus on re-roofing projects.
Extensive knowledge of roofing materials such as TPO, EPDM, PVC, and metal.
Proven experience with government, military, and complex projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage highly complex projects. 25-30 active projects with 10-15 crews.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting project drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and enforcement on job sites.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
