Food Safety & Quality Supervisor

Food Manufacturing

Location: Near Charleston, SC

Salary: $85,000 + Bonus (up to 12%)

The Role:

As the Food Safety & Quality Supervisor, you'll oversee a team of FSQ Technicians, ensuring food safety and quality standards are consistently met across the plant. You'll provide guidance and technical support to your team, playing a key role in monitoring CCP activities, implementing HACCP programs, and driving compliance with GMP procedures. It's a hands-on role where you'll ensure products meet both internal and regulatory standards while pushing the boundaries of continuous improvement.

But that's not all-you'll also be an integral part of resolving customer complaints, handling audits, and contributing to training programs. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the high food safety standards this site is known for.

What You'll Need:
  • Leadership experience in food or beverage manufacturing (3+ years)
  • Solid knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP, and Quality Assurance programs
  • A strong communicator with excellent team-building and coaching skills
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel if needed

Bonus Points for:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Engineering, or Chemistry
  • Six Sigma Certification or experience with aseptic processing and packaging
