Location: Onsite in Chandler, AZ 85224
Pay: $60 to 65 W2 hourly
Duration: 12+ month contract to hire
Job Description:
As a Linux developer the individual will be responsible for designing and implementing Linux solutions for the wider team. Some of the problems will require innovative solutions and an analytical mindset.
The candidate should be able to work both as a leader to guide and teach others, as well as work independently with little supervision when needed. As a leader, the candidate will need to take ownership of getting projects completed.
General Skills • Leadership skills. • Clear communication skills, both written and oral. • Self-starter that takes ownership of work. • Attention to detail. • Desire to learn new skills, technology, and the business.
Required Skills • 5+ years experience. • RHEL 8+ experience. • Shell scripting experience. • Experience with at least 2 non-shell programming languages. • Oracle experience, including SQL writing skills. • Jira and Confluence experience.
