We are seeking a visionary and experienced Technical Leader to lead our technology strategy and execution. The Technical Leader will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology, including Linux, advanced ETL processes, artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), and Java development. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, functioning as an individual contributor, with deep experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and other Oracle technologies, driving innovation and ensuring our technology infrastructure and solutions are cutting-edge and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
Lead technology innovation efforts, focusing on advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics.
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of healthcare archiving solutions.
DevOps and Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the design, implementation, and management of a robust DevOps culture and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the company's technology infrastructure, with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and other Oracle technologies while maintaining awareness of US cloud hyperscale market capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the technology stack, improve operational efficiency, and support rapid growth.
Advanced ETL Processes:
Lead the development and optimization of complex Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure accurate, timely, and secure data handling and integration.
Design and implement advanced ETL workflows that support large-scale data processing and analytics, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
Artificial Intelligence and LLM Integration:
Drive the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) into the company's product offerings, enhancing data insights, predictive analytics, and customer experience.
Lead AI/ML research and development initiatives, fostering innovation in healthcare data archiving and retrieval.
Software Development:
Oversee the architecture, design, and development of software applications using Java and other relevant technologies.
Ensure software development practices are aligned with industry best practices, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
Effectively manage the software development lifecycle to ensure on time and on budget delivery of products that exceed customer expectations.
Technology Operations:
Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while achieving strategic objectives.
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Collaborate with other C-suite executives to align technology initiatives with business objectives and drive overall company success.
Collaboration on Secure Architecture Design to ensure technology infrastructure and software development processes incorporate security best practices from the ground up.
Ensures that all new technology initiatives and deployments are designed with security as a fundamental component, aligning security strategies and objectives.
Oversee the implementation of cutting-edge technologies such as advanced encryption methods, secure cloud infrastructure and AI-driven security solutions.
Provides insights into emerging technologies that can bolster the organization's security posture, such as identity and access management (IAM) systems, security information and event management (SIEM) tools, and advanced threat detection systems.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong background in Linux, Data Architecture, and AI/ML.
Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and other Oracle technologies.
Expertise in advanced ETL concepts and large-scale data processing.
Strong proficiency in Java development and related frameworks.
Proven track record in product/software development, integrating with EMR/EHR applications.
