NTT Data seeks high-achieving team players who quickly adapt to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking fora Software Development Technical Lead to work with our global client in Boston, MA, or Orange, CT. This role will require presence at our client site 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Join an exciting project supporting our global Utility client in innovating and improving their online portals to deliver exceptional customer experience.
Own, oversee, and drive technical solutions design based on business requirements.
Hands-on technical leadership of software engineers focused on software architecture, design, development, and delivery.
Act as liaison between the customer community and the software development team.
Evaluate the information from multiple sources to develop an understanding of the client's business requests and needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Define high-level application platform architectural guidelines and articulate reasoning and trade-offs for choices to business owners.
Displays outward thinking, develops strategies for the entire software development life cycle of new and emerging technologies and demonstrates the viability.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in software engineering, designing and building technical solutions.
5+ years of experience in Rest Architecture.
Strong knowledge of designing architectural solutions.
Proven experience guiding development teams based on technology best practices.
Knowledge of application development lifecycle, microservices architecture best practices, and DevOps foundations.
Experience with JSON, XML, Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito, etc.), Maven, GIT, etc.
Knowledge of cloud technologies.
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Possesses motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to have:
TOGAF or similar Enterprise Architecture certification
WAF (Well-Architected Framework Certification)
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
