This role is responsible for providing daily support to systems and end users, ensuring smooth operation of applications, and resolving system issues promptly. The successful candidate will work closely with internal business users, offering insights, answering questions, and recommending system improvements to meet evolving business needs. As a subject matter expert, you will manage system interfaces, monitor data, and collaborate with software providers for updates and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily support for systems and end users, serving as the first point of contact for system issues.
Collaborate with internal business users (e.g., Procurement, Merchandising) to understand needs, provide insights, and recommend system improvements.
Offer training and support to users, ensuring they understand how to effectively use applications.
Serve as the subject matter expert, with a deep understanding of business processes, workflows, and data.
Manage and resolve tickets for system issues (e.g., Manhattan DFIO, Bamboo Rose), minimizing business impact and downtime.
Monitor data interfaces and resolve errors to ensure smooth operation.
Track and manage enhancement requests, acting as the liaison between IT, third-party vendors, and business users to implement solutions.
Coordinate with software providers for system updates and upgrades.
Develop test cases, conduct testing, and evaluate enhancements and updates.
Create and execute SQL queries, assisting with data analysis and troubleshooting.
Support software installations and resolve issues to maintain a stable production environment.
Maintain up-to-date design documentation as system changes occur.
Create and update internal user/admin manuals and troubleshooting guidelines.
Oversee access security for assigned applications.
Work with Business Analysts and software providers to scope and gather requirements for system enhancements.
Configure applications for optimal performance and coordinate system integrations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Prior experience in system administration, development, or analysis.
Experience with inventory replenishment, demand forecasting systems, and supply chain management.
Familiarity with Manhattan Inventory Replenishment and Bamboo Rose Import Ordering System is a plus.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear terms for non-technical stakeholders.
Must be available to start early in the day (7-7:30 AM) to ensure system availability.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a technology or quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Logistics, Supply Chain) is preferred, or 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience managing application security and using large-scale databases.
Previous experience in IT system administration is a plus.
Experience with Manhattan DFIO and Bamboo Rose is preferred.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Intermediate SQL skills, with the ability to write and execute queries.
Knowledge of security models and application integration.
Familiarity with Manhattan Inventory Replenishment and Bamboo Rose or similar import ordering systems is a plus.
