We are currently seeking an Apparel Product Development Assistant to join our team at Contemporary Clothing Brand. This is a fully onsite position in Vernon.
As an Apparel Product Development Assistant, you will play a vital role in introducing new fashion items to our product line. You will collaborate closely with designers, merchandisers, and suppliers throughout the entire product development process.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and suppliers from concept development to final production
- Facilitate communication of target costs to vendors
- Organize sample dispatches to vendors for new developments
- Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and materials for samples and production
- Monitor progress of prototypes and samples
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for sample reviews each season
- Support production schedules and quality standards
- Foster communication among cross-functional teams
- Maintain records and documentation related to product development
- Manage daily package deliveries for the team
