As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for daily IT support, maintaining equipment, managing data, coordinating with HQ IT teams and supporting operations team. You will act as the bridge to ensure efficient and secure operations of company IT systems and lab equipment. We seek an Information Technology Specialist who can work independently in a fast-paced environment, solve problems effectively, and communicate well.
What You'll Do
1. Equipment Maintenance and Support:
o Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot company IT equipment, including computers, network devices, printers, and other hardware.
o Assist employees with hardware and software issues, providing efficient technical support.
2. Data Management:
o Handle the backup, storage, and security of company data, ensuring reliability and safety.
o Assist in developing and implementing data management strategies, optimizing data processing and analysis workflows.
3. Coordination with Domestic IT Teams:
o Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the domestic IT team, ensuring seamless coordination and problem resolution.
4. Day-to-Day IT Support:
o Respond to and resolve employee technical support requests, escalating issues to the systems administrator as needed.
5. Operational Support & Lab admin:
o Coordinate closely with operations team.
o Ensure smooth lab management regarding assets & inventory.
What You'll Need • Education: Bachelor's/Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. • Independently motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication skills • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new tech • Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Windows support and maintenance.
o Understanding of networking technologies, configurations, and security protocols.
o Skilled in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across a variety of devices.
