What we are looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist to join our growing company! In this critical role, the HRIS Specialist will manage our processes and uphold the integrity of our HRIS, specifically Paylocity. As a technical subject matter expert and leader, you will be responsible for effective system design, functionality, administration, maintenance, and ensuring our HRIS meets the evolving needs of our organization. Your expertise will help streamline operations and enhance the overall employee experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all information within the HRIS is accurate, secure, and compliant.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to streamline processes and improve system configurations for better efficiency.
  • Assist the HR team with overflow employee relations.
  • Provide guidance and counseling to managers and employees on HR policies.
  • Assist with the creation and administration of exit interviews and performance reviews through the HRIS, utilizing standardized templates to ensure consistent data collection and analysis.
  • Provide training and support for HR staff and other end users to ensure effective use of the HRIS.
  • Regularly update and manage HRIS data to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation regarding system processes and user guides.
  • Manage the onboarding process in the HRIS to ensure new hires are properly set up within the system.
  • Review and process invoices related to corporate benefits, ensuring accuracy in billing.
  • Support the integration of the HRIS with other systems, such as payroll and benefits, to create seamless operations.
  • Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Requirements and Expectations:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency in HRIS management and onboarding document processes, with expertise in Paylocity required
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, compliance, and regulations
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to effectively support end users
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and security
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
