University in Washington DC seeking 4 Registrars/Enrollment Counselors for 6+ month contract with Extension possibilities. Rate is $27-$30/hr. based on experience level.

Job responsibilities: • Ensures confidentiality and integrity of all student records. • Processes enrollment status certification requests. • Processes academic transcript requests. • Processes course scheduling requests and updates. • Retrieves specific student related information as requested. • Maintains log of requests and action taken. • Responds to inquiries via telephone, email or in-person. • Participates in university-wide registration processes. • Coordinates the file maintenance of academic records source documents. • Enters, updates and retrieves information stored in files and databases. • Serves as support and/or back-up support to the various units in the office. • Provides window/reception desk service to students and other clients. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Position will be required to report on-campus five days a week. • Working hours are from 8:30am - 5:00pm.
