Job Description:

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Seeking contractor support for a minimum 12-month engagement to develop training content and provide training coordination services. The project aims to improve operational training capabilities by developing materials and executing a pre-commissioning onboarding and training program.

Work location: Downtown Houston, TX

Workplace: On-site / In-office (no hybrid or remote schedule available)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday / 40 hours a week

Work Type: W2 Contract

Target Start Date: Soonest available

Duration: minimum of 12 months

Relocation/Per diem/Car allowance: None -- Candidate must be local and within commuting distance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes for training materials
  • Create tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • Analyze feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing content and delivery methods

Training Content Development
  • Develop online training modules, including:
  • Interactive e-learning courses
  • Video tutorials
  • Quizzes and assessments
  • Create materials for instructor-led training, such as:
  • Presentation slides
  • Facilitator guides
  • Participant workbooks
  • Hands-on exercises and activities
  • Ensure all content aligns with adult learning principles and best practices
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and validate content

Training Coordination
  • Establish and manage training calendars for both online and in-person sessions
  • Coordinate logistics such as room bookings and equipment setup
  • Manage participant registrations and communications
  • Track attendance and completion rates
  • Provide regular reports on training activities and outcomes

Quality Assurance and Evaluation
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes for training materials
  • Create evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of programs
  • Analyze feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Recommend ways to enhance training content and delivery

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES

Basic Requirements:
  • Proven experience in instructional design and adult learning
  • Expertise in e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Familiarity with training evaluation methodologies

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in industries such as LNG is preferred
