Our client is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to support their global business divisions in managing and maintaining customer data. As an essential part of the order-to-cash cycle, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams, ensuring data accuracy and contributing to seamless business operations.
This role is onsite in Westminster, Colorado.
Customer Account Specialist Responsibilities
Create, manage, and maintain accurate global customer records, including contact details, billing, and shipping addresses.
Identify and rectify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or duplications in customer data systems.
Recommend improvements to existing data validation processes to enhance efficiency.
Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to gather and validate customer information.
Ensure all customer data management complies with company policies and localization requirements related to data privacy.
Escalate unresolved or complex data issues to team leadership for resolution.
Meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals by addressing concerns promptly and contributing to a positive customer experience.
Process basic account merges according to guidelines, obtaining appropriate approvals.
Assist with testing and implementation of system enhancements related to customer master data management.
Customer Account Specialist Qualifications
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Quick learner with a detail-oriented mindset, while considering the bigger picture.
High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in customer data management or a similar role, with customer service and data entry experience preferred but not required.
Familiarity with CRM systems and data management tools is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify data trends and patterns.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Compensation: $16-$18/hr. (DOE)Benefits
