We are looking for a PE-registered Civil Engineer to join our team as a Senior Project Manager. We are looking for someone who is able to stamp plans and has enough technical experience to manage these projects from bid to delivery. You'll be the point of contact for each client and work with internal sales, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver new projects. What you can expect:
Leadership
Strategic leadership in the planning, design, and execution of land development projects
Manage project teams to a successful delivery of engineering solutions while adhering to plans, timelines, and budgets
Lead and mentor a team of engineers
Work with different departments, clients, support staff, and municipalities, to ensure accurate and timely information flow
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Work with biz dev teams to prepare proposals, participate in client presentations, and win new business
You're the point of contact for clients
Technical
Leverage experience and engineering skills to expertly supervise/direct site grading, drainage, roadway, utility design, and structural design
Improve and implement best practices in engineering design (Civil3D, GIS, etc.)
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Help the team on technical challenges, professional development, and career advancement opportunities
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineering (PE) license
10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects
Experienced in leading and managing engineering teams
You know civil engineering principles and practices
Works well with clients and able to build/maintain relationships
Experience in business development (proposals, presentations, and project acquisitions)
You're familiar with modern engineering software and tools
