We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with experience in satellite communication User Terminals (UT). You will have a pivotal role in advancing our new user terminal for various LEO, MEO, and GEO UT products. The successful candidate will have deep understanding of satellite broadband and telecommunication services. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a multi-disciplinary team, engaging with vendors and customers, while supporting development and productization of various UT products. Additionally, you will be responsible for interfacing with customers and development partners.
As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for the entire life cycle management of the entire product portfolio under your purview, from concept through development, with a focus on ensuring unmet needs are addressed, the user experience is optimized and the end result is a product that delivers differentiated value to the market.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
Collaborate within the organization to support the conceptualization, design, development and testing of Flat Panel user terminals for global deployment.
Support the development team with hands-on execution of over-the-air testing and investigation of field issues and support deployment.
Support engineering project execution, facilitate technical trade-off discussion and recommend solutions that enhance product offering, track and report on status, and assist in resolving blocking issues.
Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external development partners on cross-functional collaboration and integration.
Develop complex UT use case test plan, procedures, and test report generation.
Support in-field testing and validation of various UT systems.
Drive successful Field Trials and Beta programs with customers.
Assist/Support field issues including travel to customer sites globally.
Train internal support teams during Product Launch phase, ensuring smooth NPI process.
Create technical content for Product Documentation
Ensure deep understanding of Product Value Proposition and Competitive Advantages
Expect up to 25% of travel depending on the phases of the projects.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience
At least 3-5 years of recent experience in Product Management with mobile network or satellite networks
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively collaborate with others to resolve complex problems, work with cross-functional teams, resolve blockers and move projects forward.
Good technical understanding of terminal equipment used to access 4G/Satellite/Cable networks.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.)
Knowledge of Protocols and Waveforms: TCP/IP, 4G/LTE, DVBS2X.
