The project engineer will be responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of all designated projects. Ensures that all engineering tasks align with the project's goals, standards, and requirements. Plays pivotal role in planning, designing, coordinating, and executing engineering projects. (Candidate must be willing to relocate to South Texas after 6 months).
Duties
Create and improve project engineering drawings at various stages and categories, assuring depth and quality while maximizing solutions.
Oversee significant engineering interfaces, working with international and local engineering firms and equipment manufacturers.
Provide frequent project status reports while also supporting extensive quality control procedures such as budgeting, progress monitoring, scheduling, and staff evaluations.
Work effectively with project stakeholders, offering technical assistance and engaging in communication and cooperation.
Review engineering deliverables and take remedial action as needed.
Assist project manager in tracking and monitoring project progress.
Requirements
5+ years of project management experience.
Strong organizational, communication, and execution skills, coupled with a high learning capacity.
Background in chemical engineering or related disciplines.
Preferably experienced in chemical engineering firms or design institutes, particularly in subcontracted project management.
Experience in overseas engineering projects preferred.
Willingness to travel overseas as required (per project needs) and have valid passport.
Speaks English proficiently.
Candidate must be willing to relocate to South Texas after 6 months
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field is required.
