Job Description:

Dynamic beauty brand based in Culver City, is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team on a temporary basis.

Location: Culver City, CA

Position Type: Temporary Assignment (until the end of the year)

Start date: ASAP

Hourly Rate: Up to $35/hr DOE

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring quality standards, tracking batch codes, and handling various logistical tasks. This role is crucial to maintaining the flow of inventory and ensuring product availability, accuracy, and timely distribution across all channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory, including stock levels, batch codes, and product quality.
  • Monitor and manage inventory transactions, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards before distribution.
  • Track and verify batch codes to comply with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of inventory.
  • Resolve any shipping or logistics issues, including delays, damage, or discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory reservations and allocations to ensure product availability for specific campaigns, events, or customer orders.
  • Conduct regular full inventory reconciliations to ensure physical inventory matches system records.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in inventory levels, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Track and report on inventory transactions, including stock movements, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Ensure all inventory changes are documented and reported accurately in the system.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management systems and Excel.
  • Familiarity with batch code tracking and quality control standards.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-departmentally.
  • Proficiency with Excel and ERP.

Work Schedule:
  • In-office presence required twice a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
