Calculated Hire is in search of a Client Onboarding Specialist for our Fortune 100 Financial Services company. You would specialize in Agency Commercial Mortgage Projects and Derivatives within the broader Mortgage Securities sector. This role involves collaborating with institutional clients to navigate onboarding processes, ensuring efficient integration while focusing on capital market structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the onboarding of institutional clients (NOT employee onboarding), ensuring a seamless integration into the firm's processes and systems.
Focus on Agency Commercial Mortgage Projects and the associated Derivatives markets, including all related activities in the mortgage securities space.
Work closely with internal teams and clients to understand their structures, entity types, and specific onboarding requirements.
Act as a liaison for institutional clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their specific needs and guiding them through complex onboarding processes.
Collaborate across departments to streamline operations, minimize errors, and enhance the client experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in institutional client onboarding within capital markets, with a focus on mortgage securities and related derivatives.
Strong understanding of institutional client structures and ability to manage and onboard these entities effectively.
Experience in capital markets, particularly in roles related to trading or sales, with knowledge of onboarding processes for brokers or similar entities, would be highly beneficial.
Prior exposure to broker onboarding or other institutional onboarding processes.
Ability to manage relationships with institutional clients, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality client services.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders to drive initiatives forward.
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of or experience working within the Agency Commercial Mortgage space.
Familiarity with institutional derivatives and mortgage-backed securities.
