West of West is seeking a Senior Architect with 10+ years of experience.
At West of West you will own project design, documentation, management, and delivery in our agile, bottom-up studio environment. You should be familiar with multifamily residential and hospitality projects. You should have deep knowledge of codes, permitting, detailing, and working drawings, while maintaining strong creative design abilities.
Work • Steward our projects from concept to completion, including management of a project's design, drawings, and deliverables. • Provide technical guidance on a wide range of topics including code analysis, constructability, and detailing. • Oversee project schedules and budgets • Consultant coordination, construction administration and project close-out
Skills • Rigorous technical understanding • Creative vision and strong design sensibility • Minimum 10 years of experience in a notable architecture firm • The ability to organize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Excellent technical knowledge of Revit, proficiency in Rhino • A hungry, humble, and positive attitude • A strong, self-motivated work ethic and commitment to great design • Organized with effective interpersonal and communication skills • An accredited degree: B.Arch or M.Arch (preferred) • Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States
