Job Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Pricing Manager is responsible for developing pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market dynamics, driving revenue growth and profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze current and historical results of pricing activity to identify opportunities, develop ideas, and make recommendations for optimal pricing performance to the merchant team
  • Manage the pricing tools - continually improving & evolving the models and process
  • Strong analytical skills creative problem solver that can run analyses on large data sets, build complex analytical models sources of information from disparate sources and deliver comprehensive, balanced & actionable analysis
  • Coordinate with merchant team and store operations to develop and maintain systematic pricing rules and strategies
  • Create and maintain targeted events providing insights on impact and effectiveness
  • Conduct Omni channel inventory analysis identifying divisional attribute discrepancies
  • Create and or maintain existing databases identifying compliance elements i.e. MAP pricing attributes and metrics associated with current and future divisional ownership
  • Seek to integrate third party data deliveries into existing pricing tools providing enhanced visibility, recommendation and insights to internal stakeholders
  • Provide support and analyses on ad hoc projects

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be a self-starter who needs little to no guidance on the basics of retail math and analysis. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 2+ Years in managing pricing processes and implementing pricing initiatives.
  • Experience in omini-channel retail helpful
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel (pivots, macros, nested formula building)
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite applications
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, integrating and aggregating large data sets
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage priorities, projects and tasks
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to utilize web-based tools for database management and actionable analysis

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Strong Retail Math knowledge is a must with the ability to analyze data.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems and recommend plans of action using factual information.

Strong analytical skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Ability to remain flexible, prioritize, and respond to changing requests from management and cross functional team.

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.

Be an independent and self-motivated team player.
