Insight Global is hiring an INFLUX of Teachers for ages 0-5 (Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Associate Teachers) for the San Fernando Valley school districts (Reseda, Van Nuys, Granada Hills, Northridge, North Hills, San Fernando). This is a direct hire with the school district, salary employee broken down into an hourly wage, and a benefits package included. You will work 10-12 months out of the year.
For all roles you MUST have a minimum of (3) credits in INFANT/TODDLER development.
Teacher: $24-$28/hour
Under general supervision, the Teacher promotes activities designed to stimulate learning in all developmental domains for children birth to 5 years old and encourages Family Engagement. The Teacher develops individual goals for infant, toddler, and preschool aged children, provides on-going assessment on progress, and facilitates transition activities into kindergarten. Additionally, the Teacher guides and supervises subordinate teaching staff in accordance with policies, procedures, and philosophy of Early Care and Learning.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Early Education, Child Development, Families Studies, Liberal Studies or related field
Minimum of 24 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
3 semester units in Infant/Toddler Development
2 years' experience working with families and children in a preschool setting required.
Associate Teacher: $21-$24
Under the general supervision, the Associate Teacher promotes activities in the classroom designed to stimulate learning in all developmental domains and encourages Family Engagement in all aspects of the program. The Associate Teacher develops individual goals for children, provides on-going assessment on progress and facilitates transition into kindergarten.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree (AA/AS) or 24 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
3 semester units of infant/ toddler development coursework
6 months of external experience or 1,000 hours of Early Care and Learning classroom experience working with families and children in a preschool or childcare setting.
Teaching Assistant: $22.89
Under the general supervision, the Teacher Assistant supports activities designed to stimulate learning in all developmental domains, caregiver involvement, individual goals for children, on-going progress assessments, and transition into kindergarten.
Minimum Requirements:
12 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
