Summary:
Mendocino Farms is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Supply Chain to optimize our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for operational efficiency and sustainable sourcing practices. Reporting directly to the COO, the VP of Supply Chain will play a crucial role in driving our brand's continued success and growth.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, inventory management, and distribution logistics.
Optimize procurement processes to minimize costs while maximizing quality and sustainability.
Develop and implement efficient supply chain processes and systems to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve profitability.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Champion sustainability initiatives across the supply chain functions, prioritizing environmentally responsible practices, waste reduction efforts, and ethical sourcing partnerships.
Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for supply chain management, aligning with company goals and objectives.
Identify growth, expansion, and market differentiation opportunities through operational excellence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management, preferably within the fast-casual or restaurant industry.
Proven track record of success in supply chain dynamics, vendor management, and procurement best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive change and innovation.
Passion for sustainability and operational excellence.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Deep understanding of supply chain management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities tailored to supply chain industry challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with team members, vendors, and clients.

Proficiency in evaluating, analyzing, and resolving multifaceted challenges inherent to supply chain logistics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software applications.
