Waterway is seeking an Associate Financial Planner with 3-5 years of industry experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative team setting and is passionate about contributing to the client experience. This role will initially involve learning the firm's processes, gaining a deep understanding of account management, financial planning, and investment philosophy. We are looking for a self-starter who is detail-oriented, hardworking, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze materials for client meetings
  • Attend client meetings, document key discussions, and actively participate
  • Execute follow-up actions from client meetings promptly and accurately
  • Support the onboarding process for new clients
  • Confidently provide financial planning advice
  • Assist and collaborate with other planners as needed
  • Manage client calls and address service-related requests
  • Coordinate interactions with custodians
  • Communicate with external professional service providers

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field

Preferred Skills
• Experience with eMoney, Fidelity, Schwab, Morningstar, and Salentica-Elements is a plus
