W2 position - 2 month long assignment with a possibility of extension.
Role Overview:
The Document Control Technician is a quality-focused individual who accurately manages the flow of site documents, the archival index, filing, scanning, and organization of the archive room.
The Document Control Technician is responsible for the following:
Management of the archive room including organizing, filing, and retrieving documents as needed.
Adherence to the corporate and company policies for record retention of documents stored in the archive room.
Process incoming hard copies as well as retrieval requests.
Scanning and uploading documents into the electronic repository
Other duties in Document Control as needed.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
Minimum of one-year experience with filing in a regulated industry, pharmaceutical or medical device experience with direct document control experience preferred.
Competencies:
Must have effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with a high degree of accuracy and recall
Must have strong written, oral, interpersonal, group, and telephone communication skills
Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
