Summary:
The Project/Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of asset management projects, serving as a key liaison between technical teams, operations teams, and clients. This position requires a strong understanding of technical aspects, operational workflows, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Coordinate project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time, accurately, and and in alignment with project goals and client expectations, while proactively addressing any challenges that may arise.
Facilitate communication between technical teams, operations teams, and clients.
Schedule and organize project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
Track project progress and provide regular updates to management and clients.
Identify and address any potential risks or issues that may impact project success.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and understanding of project progress.
Gather and analyze client requirements, translating them into clear project objectives and deliverables.
Manage client expectations and ensure project outcomes meet their needs.
Technical and Operational Coordination:
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and feasible.
Work with operations teams to ensure seamless project execution, addressing any logistical or operational challenges.
Facilitate the integration of technical solutions with operational workflows.
Ensure project deliverables meet both technical and operational standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
Quality Control/Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough QC/QA processes on operational data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Data & Metrics Management:
Create and manage operational metrics using relevant software to provide insightful and actionable data to leadership and the team.
Use project management software, data analytics tools, and other relevant software to track project progress and create reports for both internal and client use.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in GIS, geography, project planning and/or management, business or related fields.
1-3 years of experience in a relevant field (GIS, data analytics, project management, or similar).
Strong working knowledge of the following software:
ArcGIS Suite (ArcMap/ArcCatalog, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, mobile field apps)
Dashboard creation software (Looker Studio, Power BI)
Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Teams, etc.)
SQL (desirable)
Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to navigate challenging conversations.
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, proactive, and adaptable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Familiarity with the power distribution or telecommunications industry is a plus.
