Our client is one of the world's leading law firms. They have an amazing opportunity for a diversity, equity, and inclusion professional to join their DEI team to assist with designing and implementing the firm's DEI initiatives.
Location: New York, NY
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Salary: $150,000-$190,000 base + bonus
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage client requests and industry benchmarking surveys, handling both qualitative and quantitative data.
Collaborate with the Talent Management Solutions team to address industry surveys, client requests, and track/report demographics, trends, and statistics within the firm and the legal industry.
Assist in the firm's diversity hiring efforts, including managing the Diversity Fellowship, and working with Talent Acquisition to maintain a pipeline of diverse fellows, summer associate hires, and lateral candidates.
Act as a subject matter expert to support the managing director in executing DEI strategies.
Draft content for and update promotional materials, including print and online communications, supporting firm-wide communications.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications on branding, messaging, website content, social media, and communication campaigns.
Work with the DEI team to develop and manage the department's budget and track spending.
Maintain high integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee information, ensuring compliance with data privacy, security, and firm policies.
Create accountability around DEI initiatives by engaging with attorneys across various departments and offices.
Stay informed on DEI trends and innovations in the legal industry and beyond, focusing on the professional development and advancement of diverse attorneys.
Manage external diversity sponsorships and memberships, including identifying participants and coordinating all logistics.
Strengthen relationships with diversity-focused organizations, promoting opportunities to diverse attorneys.
Execute the strategy for PH affinity networks, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall goals, including global programming.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
At least 3+ years of experience in DEI (required)..
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience (required).
