Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Impact Staffing International (ISI) is looking for a skilled Sr. HCM Applications Analyst to work onsite for a multibillion-dollar Texas based Food & Manufacturing company. This position is in the Internal Payroll department and the HCM Applications Analyst is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of the organization's systems, with a primary focus on the Kronos Workplace suite specifically the UKG Version. The role includes collaborating with HR, payroll, and IT departments to ensure effective management of employee data, timekeeping, scheduling, and other workforce management processes. The Sr. HCM Applications Analyst will need to possess the skills necessary to communicate, navigate, influence and collaborate with both internal team and external plant managers and personnel. All training will be hands on to ensure competency and proficiency. This person will need to work in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, and have a strong initiative to get things accomplished. A successful person in this role will not just be a transactional Analyst but rather a dynamic and tenacious collaborator who knows how to work with key stakeholders and internal teams. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain Kronos Workforce, including timekeeping, scheduling, and absence management modules.
  • Ensure data integrity by managing user access and security roles.
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and overall performance optimization.
  • Provide ongoing support to HR, payroll, and operations teams for Kronos-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to the Kronos system.
  • Coordinate with IT and vendor support teams as necessary to resolve escalated issues.
  • Analyze current workforce management processes and identify opportunities for system or process improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new features or functionality.
  • Create and maintain Kronos reports and dashboards to support HR and operational decision-making.
  • Provide training to plant managers and personnel on how to effectively use Kronos systems.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, process documentation, and best practices.
  • Ensure that the system configurations comply with SOX, labor laws, company policies, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic audits of employee time and attendance records for accuracy.
  • Lead or participate in Kronos-related projects, such as new module implementations or integrations with other systems (e.g., ERP, payroll).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years total experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in HCM system administration, preferably with Kronos Workforce (UKG Version), implementing and/or supporting applications like ADP, Workday, Peoplesoft or similar applications preferred.
  • Experience working with timekeeping, scheduling, and/or payroll systems
  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • 401K background/experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must work well in teams and be able to develop relationships with all levels of management
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology and perform data analytics to improve the effectiveness of assignments, increase efficiencies, and quickly complete objectives
  • Proven ability to multi-task, complete projects on time and on budget and adjust to changing priorities
  • Strong work ethic and high degree of initiative
  • Background and drug testing required

Pluses
  • Knowledge of labor compliance regulations and workforce policies including SOX
  • Experience with Union labor laws and payment processes
  • Experience working in industries with complex workforce scheduling requirements
  • Patience in learning the process and in getting up to speed and becoming proficient on the company's growing business functions and processes
