We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our team in New York. You will get to work on fabulously diverse and exciting projects, engaging with sectors such as Tech, CPG, Finance, etc. However, your main focus will be the Pharma/ Health industry, ergo experience with this sector is important.
You will bring great qualitative skills and, ideally have some quantitative skills. You will have end-to-end project ownership experience gained to date to make significant, impactful contributions, adding value to individual research projects as well as ongoing client accounts. You are a can-do and hands-on, with a real desire to learn, and to develop deeper and stronger research and consultancy skills.
You will collaborate with Directors and Principals in the delivery of client projects and the development of client accounts and inspire and mentoring other Associates to deliver great work.
The role
A Senior Associate will increasingly take more ownership of all executional elements of project and becomes an able practitioner of our consulting tools. The role will include:
Ability to effectively manage projects to scope, time and budget
End-to-end management of qualitative projects, inclusive of set-up and fieldwork
Moderating HCP, patient, or consumer IDIs, focus groups & ethnographies
Effectively managing clients' expectations by regular dialogue and follow ups on each project
Gaining clear understanding of multiple and diverse client's businesses and research objectives to inform overall research approach and analysis
Take a wider interest in the business and get involved with projects/initiatives outside of client and project responsibilities, such as business development, training, mentoring, developing marketing collateral, leading an internal research initiative, etc.
Willing to travel for in-person central location research days
Skills, knowledge
Solid ad hoc research and consultancy experience at an established agency
Ability to execute core elements of a project independently
Evidence with qualitative research techniques: moderating HCP, patient, consumer IDIs, focus groups & ethnographies
Experience of basic analysis and interpretation skills to answer questions and communicate implications and insights
Strong project management skills
Evidence of client contact and management
Strong story-telling ability

Salary band $80,000 - $90,000
25 days of PTO plus 10 nationally-observed US holidays per year
Every 4 years of full-time employment, an additional 4 weeks paid sabbatical taken that year via a consecutive 4-week period
Summer Fridays each year (1/2 days each Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day)
3 days per week in the office (NY) for the first 3 months. After successful probation, becomes a flexible / hybrid work model, including remote / work from home
