Position: Administrative Assistant

Location: Southport, NC

Pay: $16/hour

Experience: Administrative Assistance and/or Office Management experience.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

Greene Resources is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:
  • Answer phones and perform all related receptionist duties.
  • Execute monthly billing for sewer invoices, tap, and impact fees.
  • Handle monthly collections and input payments into accounting software.
  • Respond to billing questions and collaborate with the District Manager to correct and adjust bills.
  • Verify daily deposits using Excel or other software.
  • Create and maintain various files, including shredding outdated documents.
  • Scan and download various maps, videos, and documents.
  • Maintain complex clerical records and compile data for reports.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license in the State of North Carolina.
  • Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, computers, and various office equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of office management procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
