Our client, a well known footwear company, is looking for a freelance Store Designer to support an upcoming project for the next 3 months, with the possibility to extend!
The role will require someone to be on-site with the team in Broomfield, CO.
The Store Designer will be working side by side with the team's Head of Visual Merchandising and Store Design to overhaul their 900 page Store Design playbook. This playbook was created 5 years ago and needs to be updated, reformatted and laid out in a more user-friendly way for all of their global partners to access.
All of the content exists and the team has ideas of edits to be made, but you need to not only have experience in design to reformat the document, but also experience in Store Design/Visual Merchandising/3D to understand the content that is being laid out.
If you have ANY experience working on a Store Design/Visual Merchandising playbook - that is a HUGE plus!
The ideal Store Designer will have:
- A minimum of 6 years of design experience, preferably in retail within either store design or visual merchandising
- A portfolio showcasing your design work
- Expert knowledge in Adobe CS as well as Sketchup or other relevant 3D software
- Experience designing or creating a store design playbook or something similar is a huge plus, but also coming from a store design or VM background will be fine as well
- Excellent communication and project management skills
