We are a seeking a analytical and driven Strategic Sourcing Manager to join the team. In this role your primary responsibility will be collaborating with leadership and stakeholders at all levels to understand needs, implement solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. My role encompasses both tactical procurement execution and long-term strategic planning, with a focus on continuous improvement and cost savings across the supply chain.
Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 annually
Location: Virginia - REMOTE - will need to travel to office occasionally
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Request for Anything process, including drafting materials, conducting detailed analysis of proposals, and negotiating with vendors to secure the most favorable terms.
Collaborate with business unit leaders to align procurement efforts with broader business strategies, providing expert counsel on purchasing processes, policy compliance, and technology capabilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, facilitating the sourcing process and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Develop and implement multi-year category strategies, anticipating enterprise-wide needs, and optimizing sourcing decisions based on market trends and supply chain shifts.
Oversee the negotiation and management of supplier contracts, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance with corporate policies, and risk mitigation.
Conduct category spend analysis, market research, and supplier evaluations to continuously enhance procurement processes and deliver value-driven results.
Ensure compliance with ethical procurement practices and regulatory requirements, promoting responsible and sustainable sourcing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is required
Minimum of 5 years of strategic sourcing experience
Background partaking with supporting business strategy and vendor relations
Experience writing and generating RFP's, RFI's, and RFQ's
Technologically savvy
Proven leadership in procurement strategy and cross-functional team collaboration.
Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization.
Strong analytical, project management, and decision-making abilities.
Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage complex sourcing processes and deliver high-impact results in a dynamic environment.
