Our Client is seeking an experienced FP&A Consultant for 2-3 month project. The hired individual must work on-site 4 days per week in Santa Fe Springs, California.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling:
Design and build comprehensive financial models from scratch to support business planning, investment analysis, and decision-making.
Ensure models are flexible, scalable, and user-friendly, incorporating key business drivers and assumptions.
Budgeting:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Facilitate budget workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on budgeting processes and best practices.
Forecasting:
Create and maintain rolling forecasts, analyzing trends and variances to provide accurate financial projections.
Develop scenario analysis and stress testing to assess potential financial impacts of business decisions and market changes.
Data Analysis:
Gather and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Utilize data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommendations for improvement.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, providing guidance on best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and presenting to senior leadership.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
