We are seeking a well-rounded Insurance Broker to liaise with insurance companies and ensure our policies are up to date with the fast-paced and highly acquisitive environment we operate in. Objectives of the Role:
Research policies from different insurance carriers.
Negotiate the best deals with new or existing providers.
Prepare reports, schedule, and attend meetings.
Negotiate policy terms and costs with insurance carriers.
Renew or amend existing policies.
Prevent monetary loss by acquiring appropriate coverage for company needs.
Recommend the most suitable policies for company needs.
Clarify terms and conditions of policies by providing clear and concise information.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Accomplished communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
Excellent salesperson skills.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar or related field.
Strong network and good standing relationships with lenders.
Capable of working individually as well as in a team environment.
Knowledgeable in all types of insurance plans related to multifamily residential and single-family homes.
Experience in delivering executive-level results.
Valid license to practice profession.
Ability to keep detailed computer records.
Expertise in advising on making claims.
Ability to help the company articulate current or future insurance requirements.
