Company Overview: Join a leading food services manufacturing company dedicated to quality and excellence. We are looking for a motivated Plant Supervisor to oversee operations, manage our team, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Bilingual - Spanish speaking is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Plant Manager, your role will include:
Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and promptly address any non-compliance issues.
Sanitation Management: Oversee and implement Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), recommending updates as needed.
Quality Control: Manage the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program and monitor inspection processes for quality assurance.
Collaboration: Work with Inspection Line Leads to coordinate corrective actions and keep the Plant Manager informed.
Documentation: Review and submit daily inspection reports and logs, suggesting improvements where necessary.
Product Storage: Ensure secure storage and proper labeling of approved cleaning products, with Material Safety Data (MSD) sheets available.
Pest Management: Oversee the Pest Management Program, coordinating service needs with the Plant Manager.
Deep Cleaning Schedule: Implement and manage a comprehensive cleaning schedule for all equipment and facility areas.
Training: Conduct SSOP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training for new hires and maintain training records.
Support Operations: Assist on the inspection line as needed and manage project documentation for incoming shipments.
Performance Management: Provide timely feedback to employees, addressing conflicts and emergency situations related to safety and conduct.
3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the food industry.
Bilingual - Spanish is required
Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Strong communication, negotiation, planning, and people management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of 5S methodology is a plus.
