Innovation Analyst Summary
The Innovation Analyst helps drive the effort to explore & adopt innovative, technology-based solutions to help BayCare patients, clinical teams & the organization.
The Analyst works directly with the Director of Innovation and the Senior Innovation Analyst to identify, research, evaluate & pilot healthcare technologies and solutions; and manages pilot projects from beginning to end.
The Analyst networks with internal BayCare customers (including clinical teams), external 3rd party technology vendors & other prominent healthcare colleagues.
The Analyst works with the Senior Analyst to learn and optimize the tools and methods used to drive Innovation at BayCare.
The role requires a strong & broad knowledge of technology from multiple areas including web, cloud services, artificial intelligence, mobile apps, IoT, wireless communication, software development, wearable devices, voice technologies, etc. & the ability to quickly learn about new technologies to understand their value.
Requirements:
Required: 4 years Advanced Problem Solving in technical areas, computers, hardware, software, and systems;
Required: 1-4 years Pilot / Project management and highly organized work style.
Preferred: 2 years computer hardware and software engineering development, programming in areas such as: HTML5, iOS, AndroidOS, Swift, Java, JavaScript, JSON, FHIR, XML, APIs, SQL, C, C++, Ruby, Python, PHP, web development, mobile technology, artificial intelligence, clinical systems, EHRs, voice technologies;
Preferred: Agile methodology for project management;
Bachelors - Computer Science, Computer Engineering OR Bachelors - Engineering OR Bachelors - Business with strong technical training, Computer Science minor, etc
