We are looking for an individual to join the Dispatch Team. The position is responsible for coordinating a 20 driver fleet, we are in the ISO/Container tank industry.
This is a full time, on-site position, communication skills in English are required, Spanish communications skills a plus. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, have the ability to problem solve, multi-task, and be an enthusiastic team player.
Responsibilities • Assignment of deliveries to drivers. • Scheduling appointments/follow-ups with clients. • Manage constant tracking of drivers, ensuring on-time deliveries. • Provide excellent customer service through phone call and email communications with clients and operations teams. • Tracking and updating equipment in our software program • Tracking and tracing container shipments via the terminal portal. • General office and other duties as assigned.
Experience: • 3+ years of experience in dispatch operations within the drayage and logistics transportation industry, with specific knowledge of the New York/New Jersey port region. • Strong understanding of port operations, terminal procedures, and transportation logistics. • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Geographical knowledge of the US
