Job Description:

The Data Strategy Analyst is responsible for supporting the Data Strategy Office through comprehensive data management, quality control, and analytical support. This role is integral in driving data governance initiatives, ensuring data readiness for analytics, and delivering actionable insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Tableau, SQL, and data analytics, combined with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Governance & Standards:
  • Oversee data quality control, ensuring adherence to governance policies and contributing to the development of data standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and document functional requirements for various data-driven projects.
  • Data Strategy Support:
  • Provide end-to-end support for CLIENT's data strategy initiatives, including documentation, analytics, and quality assurance.
  • Leverage analytical tools and methods to ensure data is collected, cleaned, integrated, and analyzed accurately for project needs.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis & Reporting:
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making, delivering insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  • Present recommendations to key stakeholders based on data findings and trends.
  • Data Enablement & Integration:
  • Assemble and manage large, complex datasets to meet business requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to automate manual workflows and optimize data delivery.
  • Support the creation and refinement of data governance policies and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and deliver relevant data-driven solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, acting as an advisor on data analysis methodologies.

Main Job Tasks:
  • Data Management: Collect, clean, and analyze data, ensuring integrity and readiness for analytics and reporting.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure all data governance policies are followed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize data processes, improving scalability and efficiency.
  • Custom Analysis: Develop and perform custom analyses using tools such as Tableau, Advanced Excel, SQL, and SAS.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Create high-quality dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or management discipline is preferred, though significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience working with data in a commercial setting, with pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders and driving projects forward through strategic data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, and Advanced Excel is required.
  • Knowledge of SAS and Alteryx is a plus.
