We are currently hiring a MicroStrategy Administrator for a fortune500 business based in Seattle
Responsibilities:
Plan and monitor capacity, and optimize performance for the MicroStrategy infrastructure.
Develop and execute procedures for migrating MicroStrategy application and configuration objects from QA to production environments.
Manage MicroStrategy security and administration tasks for internal and external users, including creating/modifying roles, LDAP groups, and user interface portals.
Implement, test, and document new or updated MicroStrategy reporting and configuration packages for staging and production environments.
Administer patches and perform day-to-day MicroStrategy content management tasks, including creating folders/reports/users and migrating them across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
Oversee all MicroStrategy configuration needs, such as collaborating with DBAs to set up and test new data sources, creating security roles, and configuring security and reporting interfaces for users.
Provide support to developers by troubleshooting issues related to MicroStrategy configurations, cubes, reports, and dashboards.
Set up monitoring systems and alert notifications for critical performance indicators within the MicroStrategy infrastructure.
Requirements:
Extensive hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and deployment of MicroStrategy tools and clients.
Proficiency with the tools in the MicroStrategy suite, including Developer, Command Manager, Architect, Object Manager, License Manager.
Experience in capacity sizing and planning for MicroStrategy infrastructure components.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems.
Expertise in SQL troubleshooting, report failures, and governance settings at both project and Intelligence Server levels.
Practical experience in report and dashboard development.
Proficiency with the MicroStrategy SDK environment.
Experience with migrations to MicroStrategy Cloud.
Contract Details
Rate: $55hr
Location: Seattle WA - office 3 days a week
Duration: 10-12 Months
