Manage the EHS Program at a small chemical plant run by a respected company. The role is focused on Safety for about 80% of the time and then Environmental and Health programs for the remaining 20%. This role reports to the Site Manager and has no direct reports.
Evaluate the current safety program with a focus on streamlining the program and improving efficiencies while maintaining the excellent safety record.
Develop and manage systems to ensure excellence and compliance with EHS regulations.
Support PSM and PHA issues.
Manage certifications, reports and permits
Serve as the liaison with regulatory agencies and inspectors
Oversee hazardous waste
Conduct comprehensive EHS training for the site.
