Job Title: Quality Control Specialist

Location: Conroe, TX

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Specialist to ensure the highest quality standards for our products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and monitoring our production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and customer specifications. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our products and sustaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and testing on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
  • Document and report findings from quality control checks, ensuring any deviations are addressed.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and processes to maintain consistent product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal quality control guidelines.
  • Analyze and interpret data from tests to recommend improvements in processes or products.
  • Maintain and update records of testing, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
  • Train production staff on quality control standards and procedures as needed.
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Participate in the investigation of customer complaints related to product quality and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, FDA, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:
  • Certification in Quality Control (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001, etc.).
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
