M&T Bank, a leading American financial institution headquartered in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer (IAM/PAM) to join its Workforce and Identity Access Management team. This critical role is responsible for securing both human and non-human identities across the enterprise through effective privileged access management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet organizational needs.
Collaborate with technology management, customers, and support teams on infrastructure architecture and design.
Conduct comprehensive analyses of user requirements and operational constraints.
Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on documentation, proposals, and technical changes.
Advocate for industry best practices and maintain expert-level knowledge of relevant technologies.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 12 years of combined higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.
Strong understanding of the system development and infrastructure lifecycle, IT Service Management, and systems design principles.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Previous experience in the banking and/or financial sectors is highly preferred.
