Position Overview:

As a Scrum Master, you will guide cross-functional teams through the Scrum process, removing obstacles and ensuring adherence to agile principles and best practices. Your leadership will help teams maintain focus, meet deadlines, and continuously improve in delivering exceptional results that impact the future of space flight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with IPT Leadership, Product Owners, and stakeholders to prioritize tasks and resolve cross-IPT issues.
  • Partner with Product Owners to plan development increments and software builds, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Facilitate sprint kick-off meetings, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Create and monitor sprint execution metrics, such as burndown charts, to track progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications:
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Top Secret security clearance.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • 3+ years in a technical engineering lead position.
  • Certifications: CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) is required.
  • Agile Expertise: Proven experience guiding agile teams on the application of Agile/Scrum best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and automated testing.
  • Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.
