The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple sustainment projects focused on web platforms, including website maintenance, application development, and content management systems. The ideal candidate will manage projects with quick turnarounds and work closely with product managers to handle forecasting, budget management, and resource allocation. This role requires strong experience in managing software development teams and a solid understanding of web processes, commerce flows, and event or offer management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple sustainment projects with tight deadlines, ensuring timely web and digital initiatives delivery.
I'd like you to collaborate with product managers to capture project requirements and make sure they align with business goals.
Oversee project forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation, managing budgets of $5M+.
Work directly with software development teams to ensure successful execution of application development and content management system (CMS) updates.
Utilize project management tools such as JIRA and SmartSheet to track progress and manage workflows.
Ensure effective communication across teams and stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
Must-Have Skills/Requirements:
Extensive experience in web and digital projects, including website maintenance, application development, and CMS.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects with quick turnarounds.
Proficiency in JIRA and SmartSheet (Clarity PPM is a plus but not required).
Experience in collaborating with product managers and managing budgets of $5M+.
Background in technology and software development, with direct experience working with development teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills/Requirements:
Familiarity with web processes, commerce flows, and event or offer management.
Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment and handling ambiguity.
Understanding of Scrum team dynamics and agile practices.
Familiarity with PPM tools and managing large-scale project budgets.
A stem degree or a degree and 15 years of experience.
