Here is the Role:
The Senior Financial Analyst is a highly experienced and specialized role responsible for providing strategic financial analysis and decision support to bridge the integration of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Analysis and Decision Support:
Serve as a subject matter expert, driving the alignment between capability requirements and resource allocation.
Provide critical insights and recommendations to executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
JCIDS and PPBE Integration:
Serve as the key link between the JCIDS and PPBE processes, ensuring seamless integration and alignment.
Develop comprehensive financial analysis and decision support to bridge the gap between capability requirements and budgetary decisions.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial matrices.
Recommend strategies and initiatives to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Mentorship and Team Development:
Manage and mentor junior financial analysts, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Skills and Experience you need:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline)
Extensive experience (10+ years) in strategic financial analysis and decision support, particularly in the context of JCIDS and PPBE processes.
Proven track record of providing critical insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Proficient in developing and interpreting KPIs and financial matrices to drive performance optimization.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Travel Requirements:
Must be willing to travel up to 10-15% nationally and internationally for client business as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in hybrid/remote office environment and requires operating standard office equipment and keyboards.
Must be able to lift small packages or other items up to 20lbs and travel short or long distances in a car, airplane, or other vehicle of transportation to client destinations nationally and internationally if needed.
